This sweet family are dear friends of ours and I am so honored to get to photograph them for family photos. I could not wait to take the kids out and just let them have a blast while I captured precious family moments on my camera. Check out their sneak peek below! Happy Day Happy Family.
It seems like yesterday, Brittany was a bridesmaid in her brother’s wedding. That is where I met her and she called me shortly after to book me for her wedding. I had the chance to really get to know Brittany over the past year and a half as she prepared for the wedding. From Bridal pictures, engagement pictures, and wedding pictures…every bit of it was a joy and pleasure. Thank you Brittany for trusting me with these precious moments. You and PJ are just awesome!
It seems like yesterday, I was photographing this sweet boy for the first time. sniff, sniff. Now he seems all grown up since he turned TWO!
He is all boy- all the way. I got a workout last night keeping up with him! But it was worth it.
He loved being with his Mom and Dad in a wide open space. And even stole Daddy’s shoes. I tell you what, those are two big shoes to fill!
I have a group of kids that I call “Sugar Snap kiddos”. They have been with me since they were days or a few months old. James is one of those kiddos, and I just love him to peices. I bet his Mommy does too, considering he gave her a flower.
I love catching up with them as they grow older. This time, James was all into John Deere. Who could blame him… I mean he looks quite handsome on that tractor!
Look out ladies, I think we have a heart breaker on our hands.
For a couple months now, I have had this sweet little girl penciled in on my calendar. We knew when she arrived that she would be pretty as could be, but I have to say this little girl is one beautiful southern belle.
Lyla is her name and it’s not the only thing that fits her perfectly. The sweet little headbands below is made by Candace Moore owner of Etsy shop- TINY TULIP BOUTIQUE. She has so many beautiful headbands to choose from.
But just when you think she can’t get any sweeter, think again.
Yeah, I know… don’t you just want to hold her? She’s for sure Pretty as can be.
Thank you Brooke and David, for asking me to capture these precious days. She’s a treasure!
There is just something beautiful about pregnancy. I simply adore having the chance to capture a mom’s beauty at the end of pregnancy. Maybe it’s because I know how it feels. They say you have “that glow”, and of course we never believe the words they say. Melissa for sure radiates beauty and she for sure has a glow about her that is pretty special. Here are a couple of shots from tonight’s session. I can’t wait to dive into more of them.
10 years ago, I was getting ready to go and be on staff with a summer ministry called SEESALT. That is where I met a lot of amazing people. One of those people was a girl named Mary Anne. She was also my roommate at Seesalt, two summers in a row. We shared a dorm room, many bowls of fruit loops and lots of fun conversations at the wee hour of about 2 am. We also spent some time talking about a boy. This boy was also a staff member. This particular boy, was the boy she married. (We all knew it was gonna happen:)
Crazy to think that 10 years later, I am taking pictures of the two of them and their two boys!
And I have to say that their boys, are just as awesome as they are. To top it off, the camera seems to really love them as much as they love each other.
Such an incredible thing to get to capture a incredible family with my camera. I love you MA and your boys!
Today’s session was tons and tons of fun. I got to run around outside with three energetic, amazingly awesome, totally cute and absolutely adorable little boys. When their mom reached out about photos she let me know that she had quite a “crazy crew”. But from the moment I arrived, these little guys welcomed me with some big smiles, and lots of special moments for the camera.
Here is a sneak peek into the madness of today:) Fun madness of course!
We made it through Thanksgiving, and my Holiday sessions are still underway. Today’s family was so much fun, and what joy it brings me to know that when I get to capture a family like this on camera- that the pictures will be treasured for a lifetime. You know… that is a big responsibility. I sure hope they love their pics as much as I do. Enjoy the sneak peek!
