I love getting to photograph families in their own backyards. This family in particular live on a very pretty piece of land. Even their driveway was glorious! But there is nothing more beautiful than seeing a great grand with the kids!

All the beautiful ladies, and one with the handsome boys. And everywhere we went the light shined on them perfectly. This was the boys’ rockband poses. These have to be my favorites. The way the light came around the stairs was breathtaking.

This weekend has been all about families and larger sessions than normal. On a typical family shoot, I normally have mom, dad, and kids but lately I have had calls for extended family sessions. I think it is such a beautiful thing when you get all the generations together. This particular family session was a mother’s day gift for one very special lady. Here are a few pics from our time together. What an amazing timeless gift she received and what a beautiful family.
