When life throws you two GORGEOUS little girls to take pictures of, what do you do? Make lemonade of course!
But the comment that made me laugh the hardest yesterday was from that same gorgeous girl…”Miss Chasity, I just want you to know that my family does NOT like bugs in our lemonade”. Bugs and lemonade just don’t mix and that is the truth. But these two siblings seem to mix quite well- Spunky and full of fun!
There is just something beautiful about pregnancy. I simply adore having the chance to capture a mom’s beauty at the end of pregnancy. Maybe it’s because I know how it feels. They say you have “that glow”, and of course we never believe the words they say. Melissa for sure radiates beauty and she for sure has a glow about her that is pretty special. Here are a couple of shots from tonight’s session. I can’t wait to dive into more of them.
I met Brittany last year when I was photographing her brother and sis in law’s wedding. A couple months later she called and wanted to book me for her wedding, which is now only about 2 months away. Totally cannot wait. Brittany and PJ, are just the real deal. You can tell they love life just as much as they love one another.
I normally don’t post this many pictures in a sneak peek. But I couldn’t resist. Not posting these was like trying to plant one sweet flower in a garden all by itself. IMPOSSIBLE. I just can’t get enough of this sweet session or this sweet little girl. When planning her session, I couldn’t keep from thinking about her name- Lillian and how it means “beautiful flower”. I also could not stop thinking about how much she has blossomed and bloomed in the past two years. She is two years old now and is such a incredibly gorgeous little girl. I could go on and on about her, her parents and how she is the smartest 2 year old I have ever known. Seriously, she’s gifted! Instead, I will let the pictures do the talking. I hope you love them as much as I do. Oh and I have to say thank you to my sweet sis in law for making the super cute headband for her to wear. She makes some pretty nifty things. You can find her HERE!
10 years ago, I was getting ready to go and be on staff with a summer ministry called SEESALT. That is where I met a lot of amazing people. One of those people was a girl named Mary Anne. She was also my roommate at Seesalt, two summers in a row. We shared a dorm room, many bowls of fruit loops and lots of fun conversations at the wee hour of about 2 am. We also spent some time talking about a boy. This boy was also a staff member. This particular boy, was the boy she married. (We all knew it was gonna happen:)
Crazy to think that 10 years later, I am taking pictures of the two of them and their two boys!
And I have to say that their boys, are just as awesome as they are. To top it off, the camera seems to really love them as much as they love each other.
Today’s session was tons and tons of fun. I got to run around outside with three energetic, amazingly awesome, totally cute and absolutely adorable little boys. When their mom reached out about photos she let me know that she had quite a “crazy crew”. But from the moment I arrived, these little guys welcomed me with some big smiles, and lots of special moments for the camera.
Here is a sneak peek into the madness of today:) Fun madness of course!
