I love it when I get to have a session that anniversaries a session from last year. It’s fun to get to see how kids have grown and changed. These two were not just taller, but their personalities have just blossomed in such an awesome way. Check out their sneak peek. They are pretty awesome kids for sure.

Oh and they added a cute little doggy in the mix this year. And believe me when I say that Winnie did not lack personality either.

Sure hope we meet again next year!

Holiday’s Are Here | Upstate, SC Family & Children’s Photographer

We made it through Thanksgiving, and my Holiday sessions are still underway. Today’s family was so much fun, and what joy it brings me to know that when I get to capture a family like this on camera- that the pictures will be treasured for a lifetime. Dear Santa,

There is the cutest, sweetest little boy named Kuy and I can promise you he has been very good this year. I even have a few pictures to prove it…I promise you he is pretty much all smiles, all the time. And with a face like this, I am sure you have him on the Nice List.Even though he is only 6 months old, he already loves you Santa. See, he even has your style! So spare no expense. His parents agree…fill your bag with lots of goodies for this sweetie. After all, it is his first Christmas!

New Family | Anderson, SC & Greenville, SC Family Photographer

Just last month, I photographed the wedding of Laurel and Chris… on a beach in Charleston, SC. Due to ceremony timing, and loss of light fast, I told them that we would meet up to get some great fall shots of the new family all together. Boy, was I glad we did, because we they are one photogenic family and I think these pics will be treasured for many years to come. Three beautiful girls, an incredible mom, and an awesome step dad… who could ask for anything better on a Fall Day in the south? Colorful Fall | Anderson, SC & Greenville, SC Children’s & Family Photographer

This morning’s family shoot was one full of color and life. If people ask me what is special about Sugar Snap, I always say that I tend to lean toward a more colorful, vivid photographs. So needless to say, photographing the Turner Family in the middle of the fall wonderland (aka, lawn with leaves) gave me the chance to color it up a little. Take a look at these sweet faces. This family made my morning tons and tons of fun!

I love it when I get to snap a shot of the parents during a newborn session. Nine times out of ten, I get the comment, “You know we really don’t have a great pic of just the two of us”. Well, they do now:) And while we were at it (and because it was such a beautiful morning), snapping one of just the two of them would not do. I could not resist getting the family together…all 4 of them. Check out the cutie pie big brother in the middle. His name is Callaway.

But the real reason I was there was to capture every newborn ounce of 10 day old baby Davis. And that I did:) even got a pic of his glorious hair. Oh and I can’t fail to mention his sweet little nose. Gorgeous baby boy huh?
