This past May, a sweet newborn baby girl with puckered lips and the most perfect little face graced my studio for her first photo session. 6 months later here we are and I still can’t resist her face.
She is one beautiful little girl and I look forward to watching her grow up through pictures. I love my job.

Saturday, October 22nd, 2011About a month or so ago, I received an email from an amazing children’s/family photographer who wanted to book a session for her family’s fall pics. I have to say that it is very humbling to be trusted by another photographer to take capture their family on camera. I immediately checked out her website, and thought to myself “Oh my goodness her stuff is BEAUTIFUL”- what if I don’t do a good enough job for her. The pressure was definitely on. From the moment Amanda and I talked, I knew that we would have a great time shooting together. I knew it so much that she is shooting my family photos in a couple weeks and I can’t wait to see what she captures for us. Amanda- thank you for trusting me with your precious family and the keepsake of photos. I hope these bring you much joy for many many years to come.

Saturday, October 22nd, 2011Today, I met up with one of the most amazing families, for a double dose of sweetness. First of all, their oldest daughter who I remember being less than one year old. Now she’s all grown up and simply beautiful. Where does time go?
I say that is the one problem with kids… they grow up. And this little guy will be a teenager before we know it.
Good thing he has an amazing sister to help guide him along the way:)
But something tells me her parents are teaching her well. What a wonderful family to grow up in.

Saturday, October 22nd, 2011So, I have to admit I get a little happy over fall weather. Not just because I get to dig into fall sessions, but there is something about getting out in this weather that just makes you HAPPY. There is something even better than fall weather though… it’s fall weather + a happy family like this.
We started out the day with the two oldest… who were very eager and HAPPY to get out of there and head to the CLEMSON game. Then we added the little HAPPY ones into the mix. They of course make things so much HAPPIER
Are they not handsome boys? With a beautiful Step Mom who they sincerely adore.
But here is where I get more than HAPPY. I get giddy when I look at pics of the little ones. They seriously melt my heart.

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011Yesterday, when I asked Siri (on my new IPHONE 4S) what the weather was going to be like today, she dampened my mood with the word RAIN. You see, today’s session I was really looking forward to because it was for some dear friends whom I have known for many years. To my surprise I woke up to sunny skies, and a nice breeze. So my mood went from blah to giddy.
Now, if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning I have the perfect thing that will put you in the sweetest mood.
Not only was he sweet but he had some expressions that will make you smile all day long.
Oh and did I mention he had game?

And he has a Uncle that kept him laughing the whole session
And that sweet lady in the far bottom left corner…that’s his Grammy. They are making a wish on a dandelion. He knew exactly what to do!
So many more I could post but I know we have to keep them in hiding for now. Thanks Chappy for making me smile today and bringing a little sunshine into my life.
